​The Valley Bar Seadogs was founded by Chris Pilmer, the current Club Away Day Coordinator, during the latter stages of the 2018-19 season. His vision was to create a financially sustainable travel club that would alleviate the burden of travel logistics and associated costs from the Scarborough Athletic F.C. Board of Directors.
